Luxury Account Manager - Birmingham / Central

Role and Responsibilities
* In the On Trade, build brand status, equity and rate of sale through delivery of brand objectives in key outlets.
* Own day-to-day customer relationships with effective negotiation, persuasion and conflict resolution.
* Accountable for P&L delivery of the portfolio within the customer remit; navigate ROI decisions aligned with priorities for sustainable, profitable growth.
* Partner with the Diageo Luxury Marketing and Advocacy teams to activivate brands in outlets, drive talkability and availability.
* Deliver against distribution and execution targets monthly, quarterly and yearly.
* Collaborate with a Luxury curation manager for menu creation, activations and customer engagement; maintain strong organizational and communication skills to deliver standout results.
* Forecast accurately and manage internal performance with attention to detail; connect with RTM and supply teams to maintain brand visibility in outlets.
* Develop understanding of on-trade dynamics within Diageo GB and feed consumer trends to brand and customer teams.
Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities
* 5+ years of commercial experience including on-trade/account management; experience managing multiple influential customers and creating new brand opportunities.
* Experience with Luxury Brands or high-end accounts is preferable.
* Deep understanding of influential on-trade GB customers and ability to drive a clear commercial plan.
* Strong on-ground awareness in on-trade and third-space arenas; excellent relationships with key industry influencers.
* In-depth category knowledge across spirits and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks; passion for premium and super-premium brands.
* Advanced negotiation and customer relationship skills; robust P&L literacy and numerical/analytical ability to derive insights.
* Experience building and activating luxury brands with central marketing teams; solid brand-building capability and decision-making across commercial and marketing levers.
* Ability to forge cross-functional relationships and engage with senior internal and external collaborators to deliver outcomes.
* Strong networking to manage multiple external customers and collaborate with internal partners.
* Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to grow existing customers and win new ones ahead of competition.
