About VIDA Bioenergy
VIDA Bioenergy develops and operates biomethane plants in the UK, Netherlands and Poland. With operational sites already running, we are expanding rapidly. Our new Wormslade plant (60 GWh/year) will start commissioning in early 2026 and is expected to be fully operational by summer 2026. The facility will also produce organic fertiliser products, with a liquid biogenic CO₂ recovery unit planned for the future.
Biomethane is a key proven low-carbon technology using manures, agricultural and industrial waste to produce renewable gas and fertiliser. VTTI has already invested over $100m in RNG projects, with an additional $500m pipeline under development.
