ECHO Personnel is recruiting a Precision Manual Engineer for one of our clients based in Corby. Our client is a well-established engineering company providing high-quality machining, fabrication, and maintenance services across a range of industries.As a Precision Manual Engineer, youll be responsible for operating manual lathes, milling machines, and associated workshop machinery to produce high-quality components. Youll play a key role in ensuring parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently, working with a variety of materials and maintaining high engineering standards.Key Responsibilities:Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and associated machineryManufacture components to specification, working to tight tolerancesRead and interpret technical engineering drawingsPerform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments as requiredWork with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, phosphor bronze, brass, and plasticsCarry out quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with H&S proceduresWork collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlinesRequirements:Proven experience in manual milling and lathe operationsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetGood mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and hardworkingHours:8:30am 5:00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch) Overtime availableTPBN1_UKTJ
