During your placements you will be part of a global team, experiencing different cultures and working with a diverse range of people to solve a variety of problems and improve our business. Whether you envisage a career in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Sourcing, joining GKN Aerospace means you are connecting with dynamic manufacturing locations supported by a global supply chain.
What You'll Be Doing
* Rotations in Operational Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Management areas of the business.
* Placements at our Manufacturing Sites (Luton and Isle of Wight) and with our Global Strategic team, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations and contracting to shape and deploy long-term sourcing strategies.
* Solving operational procurement challenges to enable our operations, building strong relationships with suppliers and improving processes and systems.
* Improving planning and scheduling processes to ensure efficient and effective operational execution, tackling logistical challenges and deploying technology and automation for the future.
From day one, you’ll take part in a structured onboarding and development journey, supported by a mentor, buddy, and our Global Graduate Community, providing guidance and opportunities to build your network.
Beyond your core role, you’ll have the chance to contribute to community projects, STEM outreach, and our early careers strategy — because we believe in making a positive difference together.
What You'll Bring
* Enjoy tackling problems, identifying and implementing solutions that make an impact by working with teams.
* A degree in: Supply Chain or any STEM discipline (2.1 or higher).
* An interest in the Aerospace and Defence industry and the role it plays in shaping the future.

What to Expect in the Selection Process
* Apply online by completing the application form, including a few pre-screening questions.
* Take part in an online assessment if you meet the initial eligibility criteria.
* Meet with a member of our team for a virtual interview if you’re successful at the assessment stage.
* Join us at the Assessment Centre at the Global Technology Centre in Bristol, held in February, to showcase your skills and potential.
* Begin your journey with us in September 2026, as part of our Graduate Programme.
