OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The main purpose of the position is to ensure the smooth running of the bathroom centre warehouse, to track and record orders, dispatch orders, and maintain the warehouse in accordance with Health and Safety law and regulation in a supervisory role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will involve:
* Manage all aspects of the Bathroom warehouse facility, ensuring both the warehouse and outside yard are always organised, tidy, accessible and safe.
* Manage the Traffic safely and efficiently, controlling vehicles and pedestrians, especially around the warehouse and yard.
* Picking bathroom materials for supply and fit contractors.
* Prepare own label and stock orders for dispatch, ensuring materials are ready for collection, loaded and transported correctly.
* Stock control and associated stock checks, ordering and maintaining stock levels.
* Inputting of inward goods – responsible for the documentation and return of goods to the supplier.
* Reporting shortages and damaged goods – responsible for the documentation and return of goods to the supplier.
* Driving forklift and stacking/racking new stock.
* Driving the company van and delivering materials.
* Participation in relevant training.
* To ensure all areas of the branch have an adequate level of customer and employee Health and Safety.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 2 years' sales, trade counter or warehouse experience.
* Minimum of 1 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
* 2 years' experience operating a forklift.
* Basic IT Skills including Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Outlook.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
* The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and a strong team player.
* Full, clean driving licence.
