The venue closes just before Christmas for around a week so you can recharge before our famous Racks New Year’s Eve party About the Racks Assistant Manager role: As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager, Front of House Manager and Bar Manager to make sure every customer has a memorable experience - and that our team feels supported, motivated and inspired. Your day-to-day will include: Running the floor as Manager on Duty, creating a welcoming and upbeat energy each shift Leading, motivating and developing a happy, high-performing team Keeping standards sky-high across food, drink, and service• Handling cash and daily reconciliations Responding to guest feedback and finding smart ways to keep improving what we do Bringing creativity, enthusiasm and great ideas to the table This is a hands-on, fast-moving role in a venue that thrives on personality and passion - perfect for someone who loves hospitality and the buzz of a busy bar-restaurant About you: You’re a natural host - outgoing, confident, charismatic and professional under pressure You’re also a confident leader who believes in leading by example and getting stuck in with the team You’re able to keep a cool head when things get busy, and genuinely care about both your guests and your team Ideally, you’ll have experience as a supervisor, duty manager, team leader or assistant manager in a bar, pub or restaurant, but if you’re an ambitious and talented front-of-house star ready for the next challenge, we’d love to hear from you too Ready to join us?
