🌙 Site Hygiene Manager (Nights) | FMCG | Northamptonshire | £60,000–£65,000
We’re hiring an experienced Site Hygiene Manager to lead night shift operations in a fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing environment. This is a senior leadership role with real influence perfect for someone who thrives on driving standards, developing teams, and delivering continuous improvement.
🔍 What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a large hygiene function: 2 Hygiene Managers + 40 Operators
* Driving improvements in cleaning efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability
* Owning and delivering the site hygiene strategy (up to 6 months planning)
* Leading KPI performance, budgets, and forecasting (labour & chemicals)
* Managing customer visits, audits, and vendor relationships
* Leading root cause analysis and microbiological improvement initiatives
* Building a strong health & safety and hygiene culture across site
* Collaborating cross-functionally (Engineering, Production, Technical)
✅ What we’re looking for:
* Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong background in chilled/high-risk environments (preferred)
* Solid understanding of BRC audits and retailer standards
* Track record of delivering hygiene excellence and continuous improvement
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing large teams and driving cultural change
