Street Cleansing Operative / HGV Driver

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 2.00 p.m. - 10.30\np.m. (40 hours per week plus half an hour unpaid break each\nday)
Days: Monday - Friday
\n
Duration: Temporary\nongoing
Duties:
Safe operation of left-hand drive road sweepers,\nworking to planned routes and schedules.
Vehicle checks, basic maintenance and reporting\ndefects.
Road sweeping,\nlitter picking and removal of debris.
Adherence to health and safety and highways\nregulations.
The role may\nalso include:
Emptying\npublic rubbish bins including dog waste.
Weed removal, clearing pavements, paths, drains and\ngullies of green waste.
Experience:
Must have full clean HGV driver's license and a\ngood awareness of health and safety.
Must be physically fit due to nature of\nduties.
Must be able to\nwork well as part of a team and on own\ninitiative.
Salary: £13.04 per hour worked 2pm - 6pm, £17.34\nper hour worked 6.30 -\n10.30pm
