My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Procurement & Contract Savings Consultant on a Contract basis.
This role will review contracts due for re-procurement and existing contracts for in-term savings.
Local Authority experience is essential
About the role:
Based in Greater London (hybrid):
Review contracts due for re-procurement and existing contracts for in-term savings.
Use benchmarking insights to evidence and validate savings opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies for contract consolidation, renegotiation, and improved supplier management.
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of savings with service delivery.
Prepare robust business cases and recommendations for each contract reviewed.About you:
You will have the following experiences:
Deep Commercial Procurement expertise, within the Public Sector.
MCIPS is desirable.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Local Authority experience is essential.What's on offer:
Salary: £500+ per day, outside IR35*negotiable based on experience
