RAC has a new opportunity for a Reception Handler on a 6-month FTC based in our Bradley Stoke office. The role involves handling inbound calls from customers and supporting the Legal Advisory team to meet service levels and business objectives, in line with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
You will manage calls from both internal and external customers, demonstrating empathy and objection handling skills. An excellent eye for detail is essential to ensure an accurate audit trail for every case processed.
Working Hours: Mon to Fri – between 9am to 6pm, shift pattern to be agreed.
What you will do
1. Accurately record personal details on RAC systems and ensure all activity is logged on the relevant case management system. Process call-backs quickly and efficiently in line with service level agreements.
2. Communicate with members, insurance companies, and internal & external departments via telephone, email, post, etc., to facilitate the provision of legal advice professionally.
3. Validate LEI policies using various means to support Legal Advisors with their call-backs.
4. Work in accordance with standards set by the Financial Conduct Authority, Data Protection laws, and other relevant legislation. This is a regulated role and subject to PCI compliance.
5. Assist with administrative tasks such as collating, keying, and maintaining management information, including validation of relevant policy information.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience with legal and insurance queries within a financial services team and have worked in a call centre handling queries over the phone. Good communication skills, both written and oral, and a good understanding of Microsoft packages are required.
