Wood is recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Engineer on a fixed-term staff basis. This role is based at our client's offices in Aberdeen.
About the Role:
The FM Engineer will coordinate and manage fabric maintenance activities, including surface preparation & coating, insulation & PFP repairs, and composite wrap repairs. They will also coordinate scaffolding, inspection activities (including RBI and vendor-specific), and repair order construction when necessary or in the absence of Facilities Engineers. Additionally, the engineer will manage and deliver the Digital Twin software project in line with Dana Petroleum’s Anomaly Management procedure.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as a consultant for offshore discipline services within the OCS remit
* Ensure work complies with procedures and legislation
* Review and remediate anomalies using digital twin software
* Monitor project costs and ensure timely invoicing
* Manage the Vendor contract for the Digital Twin Project
* Provide Facility Engineer coverage and DOA
Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Project Management
* Broad technical experience in oil and gas
* Strong relationship-building skills with industry peers
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Analytical problem-solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work in diverse teams
* High ethical and professional standards
