Lunesdale Learning Trust are seeking a Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) from September 2026 to lead the department to inspire enthusiasm, confidence and a passion for learning languages.

We have an unwavering commitment to continuous school improvement and we only intend to appoint staff of the highest ability and with the greatest promise. The post requires someone, as Head of MFL, who will lead the department in delivering the French and Spanish curriculum in KS3, KS4 and KS5 and line manage and support the team. They will need to have an engaging classroom presence and with a flair and passion for languages, to promote and encourage continued learning of languages throughout our schools, as well as contributing to the enrichment and extra curricular programmes to further promote the department.

You should be able to demonstrate your track record of success and personal qualities to show how you would align with our Trust’s ethos and objectives.

Lunesdale Learning Trust encompasses Queen Elizabeth School and Queen Elizabeth Studio School.
