Job Title: Production Scheduler
What you’ll be doing:
* Preparing production plans and schedules prioritising orders and deciding how the facility’s resources—buildings, machines, materials and people are optimised (accommodating Proof schedules)
* Managing vendor performance and on time material delivery from the suppliers including expediting and third party stocks including arranging stock counts in line with the business financial targets
* Raising of schedule agreements, ordering, reporting and expediting of intra site materials and customer furnished equipment
* Inventory management (vendor stock, disposal, surplus, quality inspection stock, blocked and stock value)
* Monitoring and management of MRP system and escalation of errors including exception messages and material requisitions
* Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly production reporting, along with ad hoc situation reports and identify production constraints)
Your skills and experiences:
* Scheduling experience in a production/manufacturing environment
* Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, SAP ERP (or similar) and general database software tools
* Ability to liaise with various stakeholders at all levels including Customer Representatives, Planning, Finance, Engineering, Quality and Production management
* Experience working in a defence/munitions environment
* Qualified in a supply chain or similar discipline
