Paralegal (Investigations) at Solicitors Regulation Authority
We are recruiting for multiple Paralegals to join our Investigations directorate on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This hybrid role supports Investigation Officers who investigate reports of misconduct against solicitors and other regulated professionals.
Base pay range
£34,715 – £38,187 per annum depending on location (Birmingham/Cardiff/London)

* Review large volumes of information and documents to identify evidence or issues
* Collate bundles of paperwork for use in misconduct proceedings
* Draft documents to a high standard
* Analyse technical and legal information
* Provide clear written and oral findings and recommendations

What we are looking for
* Experienced Paralegals or investigators with a law degree or equivalent background in a law firm or regulatory organisation
* Excellent customer‑experience, oral and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders
* Highly organised, self‑manageable and able to prioritise tasks
* Strong analytical, literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to understand complex information
* Capacity to collate large bundles of documents and analyse technical/legal evidence

We are recruiting for this role in Birmingham, Cardiff, and London. You will be based in the nearest office to your location, with the expectation of working 1‑2 days a week in‑office and the remainder from home.
