Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced registered senior dental nurse to work in the specialised clinical disciplines of special care dental services.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of dental nurses including induction, recruitment, appraisal, performance management, and first level grievance and discipline; organise and work alongside other senior dental nurses and principal dental nurse in leading with the efficient running of the dental unit/oral maxillofacial/orthodontic team in Fife.
* Work with autonomy and manage team members whilst fostering a courteous, positive and professional manner at all times; provide high standards of dental nursing care and chair side assistance throughout the department; work closely with our team of consultants and specialised doctors.
* The ability to travel is essential as you will be expected to work in departments within Queen Margaret and Victoria Hospital to meet the needs of the service.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full registration with the General Dental Council.
* Applicants should hold the NEBDN Dental Nursing Certificate, the NEBDN Orthodontic Specialist Nurse Certificate, or a Sedation Certificate.

* A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
