Job Summary
Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning supervisor to join our team at WMP Telford, Malinsgate, TF3 4HW.
Working Hours
* Monday – Friday
* Start at 4 hours per day; after a trial period will increase to 7 hours per day
* Total of 15 hours a week (6:00 – 9:00)
Salary
£12.71 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning cells.
* Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
* Maintain Health and Safety standards.
* Keep equipment cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
* Respond promptly and courteously to customer requests.
* Supervise and support the cleaning team, providing guidance and training as required.
Requirements
* Good attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team.
* Reliability, responsibility and a flexible approach to work.
* Cleaning experience preferred; full training provided if necessary.
* Enhanced Police Vetting required for the role (mandatory).
* A driving licence is an advantage; local residence is preferred.
