Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Warrington. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience working with children or young people who present challenging behaviours, emotional difficulties, or additional learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Help manage behaviour and promote positive emotional wellbeing Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement Support pupils both in the classroom and during off-site activities Requirements: Experience working with SEMH, SEN, or in a care/support role Strong behaviour management and communication skills A calm, patient and empathetic approach Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) Team Teach or similar training is desirable but not essential What We Offer: Competitive daily rates of pay (£80–£100 per day, depending on experience) Ongoing CPD and training opportunities Dedicated consultant support from Teaching Personnel Opportunity to make a real impact in a young person’s life Interested?
