Recruitment Day Taking Place in JulyAbout the RoleHays Education is recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to support learners within a specialist education setting from September 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have special educational needs (SEN), helping them access education, build confidence, and develop key life skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with SEN
* Support students with additional learning, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
* Support learners with personal care where required
* Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider support teams
What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you must:
* Have previous experience supporting learners with SEN
* Be confident and comfortable supporting with personal care when needed
* Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills
