Your new role
This full-time Year 4 teaching role is to cover a maternity leave for two terms, starting in September. You will take responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.Working within a supportive team, you will have the opportunity to contribute positively to the wider life of the school while maintaining a well-organised and purposeful classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact over a set period.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
* Confident behaviour management with a calm, consistent approach
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations
* Ability to plan engaging lessons that support a range of learners
* Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
* Reliability, organisation and a commitment to creating a supportive classroom environment
