You will be second in charge of the head chef, so leadership skills are a must.
Previous experience in a similar role is required here, we need you to have a sound understanding of how a professional kitchen works.

Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the culinary operations at the pub.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute menus that align with the pub's concept and customer preferences.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
* Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control are consistently maintained.
* Assist in managing inventory, controlling costs, and implementing food safety standards.
* Support the Head Chef in creating a positive and productive work environment.
* Step in and assume the Head Chef's responsibilities in their absence.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Effective communication and leadership skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Relevant culinary qualifications preferred.
