About the Role

As a Compliance Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the company’s global Compliance Programme, supporting crucial onboarding and third‑party risk management activities. This is a genuinely dynamic role with strong learning potential—ideal if you’re looking to deepen your expertise in KYC and broaden your exposure to compliance across the energy and commodities sector.

You’ll be at the heart of the compliance engine, supporting with:

✅ Maintaining complete and accurate KYC due diligence records for new and existing counterparties

✅ Vessel screening, risk assessment tasks and broader compliance programme support

✅ Ensuring internal databases are meticulously updated

✅ Escalating concerns swiftly and appropriately

✅ Suggesting practical improvements to existing processes

✅ Collaborating confidently across different business areas

✅ Ad hoc responsibilities that give you exposure across the team


What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone sharp, proactive and eager to grow:

* 1–2 years’ experience in compliance administration
* Experience in KYC analysis (preferred)
* Background in a compliance consultancy or energy particularly oil or commodities trading — is highly advantageous

* Degree‑educated (essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
* Confident working with autonomy
* Strong interest in building a long-term career in compliance
* Fully office‑based, 5 days per week in London
