Accounts Assistant
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join one of London’s longest standing prestigious US law firms.
This role is perfect for a motivated legal Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant with plans to qualify in the future looking to grow within a high-performing finance role.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and supporting the wider London Finance teams, you will play a key role in a wide range of financial management operations including general ledger, payroll reporting, compliance, and more!
The Accounts Assistant Role
With the recent growth of the London office, the Financial Controller needs to expand their and requires immediate assistance with a full range of management and transactional reporting duties. You will run and analyse general ledger reports, post journals, support with budgeting, tax accounts, bank reconciliations, payroll processing and assist with month end and annual SRA audits.
Candidates will have 1-2 years’ experience in a law firm accounts role and have a basic bookkeeping knowledge, preferable with an AAT Level 3-4 qualification. Experience of using 3E is advantageous however full training will be provided, a confident working knowledge of Excel is essential as well as a sound understanding of VAT and Solicitors Accounts Rules compliance procedures.
