Reporting directly to the Directors, you will have day to day responsibility for a team, growing cereals, Oilseeds, Beet & potatoes (with irrigation) alongside farm diversification enterprises.
Key requirements
* Good communication skills; able to work alongside / invigorate the employee team - ensuring high operational standards
* Organisational and planning skills - to oversee all general farm, field and mechanical operations.
* An understanding of soils, cultivations and crop inputs
* Methodical approach to record keeping, H & S, liaise with agronomists
* Keen to develop new techniques & technology to meet future industry challenges
* Proactive approach to budgets and resources
* Full Driver's Licence essential.
