We are seeking Education Support Workers with a Health Care Assistant or support work background to work across specialist education settings in Sunderland. This role is ideal for individuals transitioning from healthcare into education.
You will support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and personal care needs, working closely with experienced education staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pupils with emotional, behavioural and personal care needs.
2. Assist during lessons and structured activities.
3. Implement support and behaviour plans.
4. Support pupils during transitions.
5. Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Skills & Experience
6. Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or support worker.
7. Comfortable supporting pupils with additional needs.
8. Calm, empathetic and resilient approach.
9. Happy to travel to different settings.
