The Opportunity
We’re looking to appoint a Heritage Consultant. You’ll contribute to a wide range of heritage consultancy projects, including:
* Desk-Based Assessments
* Heritage Statements
* Historic Building Recording reports
* Written Schemes of Investigation
* Cultural Heritage ES Chapters for EIA
* Monitoring of Archaeological Sub-contractors works
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll have a solid foundation in heritage consultancy, with the ability to deliver high-quality reports and take ownership of the work assigned to you. You’ll have a strong background in archaeology and / or heritage, with a good understanding of planning and heritage policy. You’ll also be comfortable communicating with clients and stakeholders. Essential Requirements
* Experience in heritage consultancy or a related sector
* Strong research, writing, and communication skills
* Familiarity with UK planning and heritage legislation
* CIfA membership or IHBC membership
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work away from home occasionally
