With over 400 people and five development labs spread across Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America, and the Unite Kingdom, Objective is a leading developer of SaaS solutions for the government.We are currently looking for a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of the design, configuration and implementation of Objective's Software Products. You will work closely with the Senior Technical Consultants, Business Consultants and Project Managers, providing and assisting them with technical installations and associated tasks. The position covers product installation, upgrades, configuration, integrations, customisations, data migrations and troubleshooting.This role reports to the Regional Services Director and does not have people management responsibilities
What your day will look like:
1. Responsible for Project Delivery on time
2. Responsible for successful installation, testing certification, and upgrades of Software
3. Work closely with the project team assessing migration
4. Responsible for configuration and testing of API and Webservices based integrations and develop customisations where required.
5. Ensure continuous improvement
What we are looking for:
6. 3+ years experience in implementing technical solutions
7. Experienced in relational database platforms SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc
8. Experience with Java & Java Application Servers Wildfly, Tomcat
9. GitHub/GitLab incl. source control and pipeline management
10. Sound knowledge of AWS would be highly desirable
11. Administration of Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2019+, Windows 11). Exposure to Unix is also beneficial
12. Programming experience / experience with APIs and Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills
14. Track record of building customer first solutions -able to work to and meet deadlines
