What’s the role?

Are you passionate about driving excellence and consistency across global operations? We are looking for a Standardisation Lead to champion the continual improvements and harmonization of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and operational protocols across our international facilities. The role will predominantly be based at our Leyland facility, however will work across the PPU sites, which is a group of 5 pizza manufacturing plants across Germany, Poland, Canada and the UK

As our Standardisation Lead, you will manage a portfolio of harmonization projects, playing a pivotal role in aligning manufacturing processes, quality standards, and operational protocols across multiple international facilities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, reduce variability, and ensure compliance with global food safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

Leading the development and implementation of standardised manufacturing processes across global sites.

Reducing process variability and enhance compliance with international food safety and regulatory standards

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including IT, automation, and data science

Facilitating a smooth communication across technical and operational departments

Playing a key role in the BAT team – an interdisciplinary body shaping the future of PPU software and systems

Driving the implementation of standardized computer systems and software tools

Ensuring unified processes and streamlined data management across all locations

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking astrategic and detail-oriented leaderwith a strong background inproduction processes and project managementto drive standardization across our manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Proven experience in food manufacturing, preferably in a multinational environment.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO / ).

Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Influencing at executive management level

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally. The role will require regular international visits across the PPU plants.
