Key Details: Location: Edmonton, Enfield, Full-time | Term-time only (35 hours/week, 40 weeks/year) Temporary-to-Permanent Salary: £29,712 - £31,968 per annum Generous benefits, School holidays off & Career progression.About the role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll provide vital financial and administrative support across the school’s campuses. From processing invoices and managing ParentPay to assisting with payroll and budgeting, this role is central to keeping the school’s business functions running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Enter and manage financial transactions using the school’s finance system (FMS), including journals, purchase orders and invoice processing Maintain accurate supplier details and ensure all finance documentation is in line with internal procedures Support payroll data preparation and liaise with external payroll providers Manage ParentPay, including setting up accounts, tracking payments and following up on outstanding balances Assist with monthly finance tasks and contribute to accurate budget monitoring Use systems such as SIMS and Parago to support financial reporting and asset management Collaborate with the wider operations team to support the school’s business functions efficiently Resolve queries from suppliers, staff and parents in a professional and timely mannerWhat we’re looking for: Previous finance/admin experience, ideally in a school or education setting Strong working knowledge of financial software — FMS experience is essential Familiarity with systems like SIMS (for school management) and Parago (for asset tracking) Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask Someone motivated to learn, grow and progress within a values-led special needs schoolWhy apply?
