OUR COMPANY
Pure Oil New Zealand Limited operates a large commercial oilseed crush plant located in the Izone Business Park, Rolleston, Canterbury. We manufacture quality New Zealand grown seed oils and protein meals for export and domestic markets. Our products are sold into food ingredient, retail supermarkets, industrial oils, and stock feed sectors.
We are a vertically integrated business, managing crop growing with our supplier farmers, handling and processing seed, and marketing oils and protein meals. This integration allows us to control the supply chain and guarantee product quality. We are customer-focused and have successfully launched numerous products and brands over the past 10 years.
Pure Oil NZ is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a new Plant Operator to join our team, enabling 24/7 operations.
ROLE PROFILE
The core responsibilities include:
1. Truck, forklift, and loader work
2. Operating industrial machinery
3. Monitoring oil extraction processes
4. Supporting compliance programs
5. Performing varied tasks with changing daily priorities
6. Indoor and outdoor work environments
7. Working effectively in a small team and being proactive
8. Attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
9. Some weekend work may be required
10. Average 45-50 hours per week with seasonal variations
