Job Description
McDonald’s is on an exciting journey to revolutionize our observability and AIOps capabilities. Our mission is to turn data into actionable insights and drive operational excellence. We seek a dedicated team member to bridge our technology stakeholders and the observability and AIOps teams.
This role involves representing the voice of technology in developing processes and governance frameworks to establish our new function. Your expertise in IT operations and observability, along with excellent communication skills, will be vital in designing incident management, monitoring, and automation capabilities. You will ensure processes are aligned across teams, fostering collaboration and cohesion.
Responsibilities
* Automation: Implement AI-driven automation to improve IT operations efficiency.
* Monitoring and Maintenance: Use AIOps tools to monitor systems, detect anomalies, and predict issues.
* Data Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain ETL pipelines within Cribl for data collection and processing.
* Collaboration: Work with development, operations, and observability teams to integrate AI solutions into workflows.
* Incident Management: Employ AIOps for proactive incident detection and resolution.
* Performance Optimization: Continuously improve system performance using AI insights.
Qualifications
Technical Skills Required:
* AIOps Platforms: Familiarity with Moogsoft, BigPanda, or IBM Watson AIOps.
* Programming: Proficiency in Javascript, Python, Java, Bash.
* Cloud Native: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, Terraform.
* Machine Learning: Understanding of ML concepts and frameworks.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for complex IT issues.
