£70,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits PackageThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical Estimator to join a highly respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering projects typically ranging from £500k to £6m across the commercial, office fit out, healthcare, education, industrial, and leisure sectors.The company has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality mechanical building services installations including HVAC, heating and cooling systems, plantroom upgrades, pipework, public health services, and full M&E refurbishment works. They offer long term career development, as well as an enjoyable and supportive working environment.The RoleAs a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for:Preparing accurate and competitive tenders for mechanical building services projectsCompleting material take offs, equipment schedules, and labour calculationsReviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirementsLiaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotationsIdentifying value engineering opportunities and technical solutionsSupporting pre construction and operational teams throughout the tender processWorking to tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracyAbout YouPrevious experience working as a Mechanical Estimator or Senior Mechanical EstimatorA strong background with mechanical or M&E building services contractorsGood technical understanding of HVAC systems, heating and cooling plant, pipework, and associated building servicesThe ability to review drawings, interpret specifications, and prepare detailed tender returnsStrong communication and organisational skillsA full UK driving licenceCandidates from FM or maintenance backgrounds will not be suitable for this position, as experience within mechanical installation contracting is essential.Remuneration Package
