Precision Medicine Key Account Manager, Midlands and East

Location and Working Environment
This position is hybrid and will require you to be onsite once per quarter in our Bourne office, UK. This is a field based role. * Ensure seamless patient access to Astellas Precision Medicine products by leading exceptional account management and executing tailored plans.

Role And Responsibilities
* Embedding a strong Compliance Culture across all areas of the business, ensuring that Integrity in Action is actively applied to every initiative. Ensuring adherence to Astellas policies related to Ethics and Compliance standards and maintaining knowledge of relevant country codes of conduct and Astellas company standards.
* Enabling all eligible patients to access Astellas therapeutic options, driving the development of Astellas Precision Medicine business within your accounts. Optimising sales, market share, and other local targets. Building awareness of patient conditions and issues, focusing on patient care and outcomes.
* Solid tumour, malignant hematology and/or neurology Key Account Management.
* Previous experience working with diagnostics within the cancer arena.
* Ensure seamless patient access at the account level and provide in-label education to stakeholders, including technical aspects.
Continued Role And Responsibilities
* Plan, implement, and optimise outcomes by understanding account infrastructure and stakeholder relationships. Gather and analyse customer, account, and territory data to create tailored plans, ensuring effective resource allocation.
* Develop cross‑functional plans for accounts, manage risks and actions to ensure success. Drive local market access activities, ensure full access to Astellas brands, align with pricing and reimbursement strategies, and integrate into treatment guidelines and protocols.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate affiliate strategies into aligned local actions that drive brand performance. Ensure all local plans and messaging are consistent with the overall brand strategy.
* Maintain knowledge of product data, disease states, medical insights, competitor information, and regulatory developments. Participate in training programs to stay up‑to‑date.
* Attend internal and external business meetings, seminars, sales conferences, and other events, which may involve overnight stays and regular travel. Maintain strong IT skills for company communication and reporting systems, including Microsoft Office.
* Take on additional tasks such as task forces or liaison with other departments; invest in personal development and other duties reasonably required by the business.
* Demonstrate personal accountability and fully comply with Astellas Group Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including ABPI and EFPIA Codes of Practice, Healthcare Compliance policies, and SOPs.
* Proactively clarify and seek guidance as needed, raise concerns timely with manager, referencing Ethics and Compliance Team or Helpdesk when necessary.
* Undertake mandatory Ethics and Compliance training and refresher updates. Complete all training on time.
* Be aware of and comply with Astellas Way, Competences, HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
* Solid tumour, malignant hematology and/or neurology Key Account Management experience.
* Previous experience working with diagnostics within the cancer arena.
* Proven Key Account Management skills with demonstrable success in exceeding business goals.
* Demonstrable ability to work with complex clinical data sets.
* Proven ability to build strong lasting relationships with all customer groups.
