About the Role
An Outstanding girls secondary school in Harrow seeks a knowledgeable Business and Economics Teacher to join their social sciences department from September. The role involves delivering engaging lessons in business studies and economics at KS4 and KS5, fostering students' understanding of economic principles and business practices. We are looking for a skilled teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging business studies and economics lessons at KS4 and KS5.
* Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
* Develop students' understanding of economic principles and business practices.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the business and economics curriculum.
* Organise and lead business and economics related extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Business Studies or Economics.
* Proven experience in teaching business studies and/or economics at secondary level, including A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for business and economics.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
