You will be joining the West Midlandsbined Authority (WMCA), supporting a high‑profile directorate within a fast‑paced public sector environment. WMCA plays a central role in shaping the future of the region, and you will be contributing to the smooth running of themunications leadership team.
Your new role
As an experienced Personal Assistant, you will provideprehensive executive support to the Director ofmunications and two Heads of Service. You will manage busy and dynamic diaries, coordinate meetings, handle sensitive and highly confidential information, and ensure the smooth flow of day‑to‑day operations. Your role will include general PA duties such as preparing documents, managingmunications, prioritising enquiries, and supporting key activities across the leadership team. Working proactively and with discretion will be essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience as a Personal Assistant supporting senior leaders, with strong diary management capability and the ability to work with confidential information responsibly. Excellent organisational skills, strongmunication abilities, attention to detail, and confidence working in a hybrid environment are essential. You will need to be proactive, adaptable, andfortable managingpeting priorities in a professional setting.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a rate of £ per hour plus holiday allowance, working full‑time at hours per week. This is a 3‑month ongoing contract with hybrid working arrangements, including two days per week based at WMCA’s Summer Lane office.
