About the Company A leading Mechanical and Electrical contractor based in Merseyside are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This business have decades of successful and reputable trading behind them, working with a variety of clients in the public sector including schools, hospitals, collages, universities and housing associations. About the Role You will work to develop comprehensive project plans for each project, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation. Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks and milestones are identified and tracked and targets are achieved. You will carry out and complete on-site surveys to ensure clients expectations both in terms of specification, timescales and costs are achievable prior to project commencement, and support the operations team in carrying out ‘pre-condition’ surveys of client sites as and when required or requested. - Continued monitoring of project costs during the project lifecycle (including labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors) and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints through to handover. - Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and apprentices. - Delegate tasks and provide clear direction to team members. - Ensure the team are delivering their tasks in a safe way by following company H&S - Attending weekly Operations and Labour meetings to ensure Mechanical resou...
