Clerical Officer
Band 2 - 22.5 hours - Monday/Friday and flexibility with the 3rd day. Fixed Term - 2 years
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Administration service. This post will work within the Denton locality providing full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams that are based at Ann St Clinic Denton, Dewsnap Lane Clinic Dukinfield and Albion Drive medical practice Droylsden on a rota basis.
Working as part of a team, the post holder will act as the first point of contact for all community services, therefore the post holder must have the ability to deal with the general public and have a positive approach to customer care. Administration experience is essential as you will be expected to undertake a full range of clerical tasks.
The Community Administration service is contracted to work between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday.
Responsibilities
* Provide a full range of clerical tasks to Healthcare Professionals.
* Have a variety of IT skills to be able to use spreadsheets, word processing, e-mails and basic keyboard skills.
* Use the patient administration system to book patient appointments.
* Carry out general office management tasks such as filing/management of records and telephone duties.
* Provide administration support for services being provided off site if required.
* Work as part of a team and carry out tasks set by the Administrator/line manager.
* Process incoming and outgoing mail.
* Respond to daily queries from internal and external organisations; excellent communication with good written skills is required. A good standard of typing and IT skills is also necessary.

* Experience of administration and clerical tasks.
* Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail and basic keyboard skills.
* Ability to use a patient administration system to book appointments.

The post is based in the Denton locality with rotations across Ann St Clinic Denton, Dewsnap Lane Clinic Dukinfield and Albion Drive medical practice Droylsden. You may be required to provide administration support for services being provided off site.
