Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in Levenshulme to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting pupils with speech and language needs, helping them thrive both academically and socially.
The Role:
* Full-time position commencing in February.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with speech and language difficulties.
* Collaborate closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external specialists to deliver tailored interventions.
* Assist in creating an inclusive, positive learning environment that promotes confidence and engagement.
* Monitor progress and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children with speech and language needs (essential).
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
* Strong ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Relevant SEN training or qualifications (desirable).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
