Handpicked Cottagesis a growing portfolio showcasing some of the finest luxury holiday homes across the United Kingdom. Operating primarily as a marketing platform, Handpicked Cottages partners directly with property owners and agents to enhance their visibility and drive more direct bookings through their own websites. The platform also offers a range of premium advertising opportunities, enabling subscribers to further elevate their listings.
TheBusiness Relationship Partnerwill play a key role in supporting the growth and retention of subscribers within the portfolio. Working closely with the Director of Handpicked Cottages, this position will be central to expanding the brand’s reach and strengthening relationships with partners.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for subscribers, responding to enquiries, offering support and strategic guidance on marketing opportunities through Handpicked Cottages.
* Proactively build relationships with holiday let agencies across the UK, promoting the advantages of listing multiple properties on the Handpicked Cottages platform.
* Manage social media channels and email campaigns to engage both potential guests and B2B audiences, growing brand presence and reach.
* Identify and upload high-quality Awin listings aligned with the brand, maintaining and updating content across the Handpicked Cottages website and its sister site, Elite Cottages.
* Collaborate with SEO specialists and web developers to implement website updates and improvements, ensuring optimal performance and visibility.
* Prepare and upload new property listings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
* Generate leads and manage a B2B sales funnel to attract and convert new subscribers.
* Work closely with the Director to execute targeted marketing strategies and campaigns.
* Assist in the creation of promotional content across email campaigns, social media, and other marketing channels.
* Conduct market research and leverage SEO insights to identify trends, monitor competitors, and uncover growth opportunities.
* Stay up to date with industry developments, including trends in travel and the UK holiday letting sector.
* Perform other reasonable duties as required by senior management or the Director.
* Ability to leverage GA4 insights to assess subscribers listing performance.
Person Specification Qualifications
Educated to Level 3 or an equivalent professional or vocational qualification (For example A Levels, Advanced Apprenticeship or NVQ)
Educated to degree level, or an equivalent professional or vocational qualification.
Qualification in media, marketing, business, or tourism
Experience
* Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other applicable software tools.
* Flexible and open to adopting new technologies and staying current with industry developments.
* Experience in B2B account management, client services, or sales, with a focus on growing and retaining customer or subscriber bases.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies targeted to specific audiences or market segments.
* Understanding of the UK holiday lettings market or similar industries is highly desirable.
* Prior involvement in collaborative projects with marketing, SEO, or web development teams to enhance digital presence and performance.
* Background in digital marketing or communications, including social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
* Hands-on experience using Google Analytics to generate reports, analyse campaign performance, and guide data-driven decisions.
