Credit Controller Location: Tamworth (B79) Hours & Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 - Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM We are working with a well‑established business based in Tamworth who are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Credit Controller to support their finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone experienced in credit control who enjoys a varied workload and can confidently manage customer accounts, reconciliations, and month‑end processes. Key Responsibilities Daily / Ad Hoc Duties: Post-close reconciliation of bank payments Raise invoices once orders are confirmed by the admin team Import invoices into SAGE from ProfIT Upload OSMO to the client’s portal Draw down available cash and update availability Chase overdue debt and confirm outstanding balances Update expired credit limits using Creditsafe / Atradius Convert held sales orders in ProfIT Request remittance advice for unallocated payments Save and file customer remittances Activate new customer accounts Obtain credit limits for new/prospective customers Manage invoice queries, liaising with Admin/Sales/Quality teams and customers Month-End Duties: ProfIT-to-SAGE invoice reconciliation Full bank reconciliations for GBP, EUR and USD accounts Provide a full list of raised credit notes Send updated Atradius credit limit listings Complete Belgium Intrastat submissions What We’re Looking For Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or similar Strong working knowledge of SAGE Familiarity with credit checking systems (Creditsafe/Atradius) Excellent communication and customer‑handling skills High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently Recruiting on behalf of our client
