This role sits at the heart of the organisation. As Head of Finance, you will take ownership of financial leadership, governance, and commercial insight, partnering closely with founders and senior leaders to support decision-making and sustainable growth.
The Role You will lead the finance function end to end, combining hands-on financial control with strategic input. The position offers high visibility across the business and genuine influence over operational and commercial outcomes.
Key areas of focus include:
Full ownership of month-end close, management reporting, and board-level insight
Oversight of balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, and financial controls
Leadership of cashflow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management across multiple currencies
Acting as the senior finance voice across sales, operations, and supply chain, providing robust analysis and challenge
Driving improvements to finance systems, automation, and scalable processes
Leading and developing a geographically distributed finance team
Managing statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit relationships
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, with a dotted-line relationship into Group Finance.
About You You are an experienced finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and sound judgement. You enjoy operating in a fast-moving environment and are comfortable balancing detail with the bigger picture.
You will bring:
Experience operating at Head of Finance or Finance Director level
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience
A collaborative leadership style with proven people management capability (team has 2 direct reports)
The confidence to challenge constructively and influence at board level
Strong systems and analytical skills, including advanced Excel and BI tools (Power BI preferred), and experience with Sage 200
Exposure to internal controls and external audit, ideally within a Big 4audited environment
Package Salary in the region of £80,000£90,000
