What you’ll be responsible for
Carrying out planned maintenance of ICA plant, making decisions on tasks and frequencies to balance regular checks and breakdowns.
This includes:
1. Working closely with wastewater teams to provide ICA support for treatment works and assets.
2. Ensuring compliance with the maintenance schedule.
3. Performing planned maintenance and optimizing task frequencies.
4. Responding to breakdowns, assessing issues, acquiring spares, and repairing as needed.
5. Recommending design changes for efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Programming PLCs, telemetry, and SCADA systems for plant control and monitoring, and updating programs as needed.
7. Reviewing small capital schemes for proper operation.
8. Maintaining IMS procedures to ISO standards, calibrating equipment, and keeping audit records.
9. Ensuring communication links to outstations are operational.
10. Implementing and maintaining the Planned Maintenance System.
11. Participating in design, installation, and commissioning of capital schemes.
12. Collaborating with partners for effective scheme implementation.
13. Designing, installing, and maintaining instrumentation and communication links.
14. Performing other duties as required.

About you
Qualifications:
* HNC or equivalent in Industrial Measurement and Control
* Clean Driving Licence
Experience:
* Time-served apprenticeship in electronics, instrumentation, or electrical fields; or fully qualified with relevant experience
Knowledge & Skills:
* Customer-focused attitude
* Team player with ownership and accountability
* Ability to develop positive relationships
