Preferred Requirements
* Expertise in geology, phase 1 and 2 site investigations, report writing, remediation, earthwork design, and foundation design
* Experience with borehole investigations and the ability to supervise construction works, including inspecting foundations and drilling/grouting of mine workings
* Proficiency in preparing coal mining risk assessments, earthworks strategies, and verification reports
* Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, regulators, and site staff
* Ability to advise on geotechnical parameters for foundation design and slope stability
Preferred Qualifications
* A strong Degree or Masters in Geology, Geography, or Civil Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the geotechnical/geo-environmental field
* Working towards professional development with the Geological Society, Institution of Civil Engineers, or a similar professional body
