GSL Education are currently seeking a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work in schools across the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield. As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver hands-on lessons that help pupils develop technical knowledge, design thinking, and practical skills while encouraging creativity and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach practical skills including design processes, materials, and product development. Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop and classroom environment. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong practical teaching skills and classroom management. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
