Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer, to work on a permanent, hybrid basis in LS2, Leeds!
You will become part of a small, friendly, close-knit team, where you will have responsibility for producing financial analysis, collating information for auditors, maintaining fixed asset register / depreciation & assisting with month end duties including preparing, inputting and reviewing monthly management accounts including prepayments/ accruals, forecasting, P & L, budgeting and fixed assets. You must be AAT Level 4 qualified to be considered for this role and educational sector background would be highly beneficial.

Duties Include;
* Preparing, inputting and reviewing monthly management accounts journals
* Management of sales, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets & depreciation
* Month end reporting & analysis
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts, reconciliations of bank transactions, P&L and balance sheet reviews
Key Skills & Experience required:
* AAT Level 4 qualified and previous dealing with management accounts
* Previous exposure to a fast-paced finance environment and be able to manage their workload accordingly
* Self-motivated, eager to learn, and be able to work under pressure
* Strong MS Excel knowledge (VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables)
* Working knowledge of maintaining a Fixed Asset register & depreciation policy
* Higher education experience would be highly beneficial
This is a permanent, hybrid working based role (2 days WFH & 3 days office), with salary paying in circa of £33k per annum.
