Overall Purpose Of the Role:
As a Product Manager within the Segments and Propositions team, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategic development of customer propositions across the UK market. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that how we treat and engage with our various customer segments aligns perfectly with Barclays’ overarching brand goals. You will manage products through their entire lifecycle—from initial inception through digital delivery—while maintaining a rigorous focus on risk, control, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proposition Strategy & Alignment: Lead the strategic development of customer propositions, ensuring all initiatives are commercially viable and strictly aligned with Barclays’ long-term business objectives.
2. Digital Change Management: Direct the end-to-end product lifecycle, managing the transition from "idea inception" to "digital delivery" with a focus on seamless execution.
3. Segment Management: Oversee how different UK customer segments are treated, balancing Business As Usual (BAU) requirements with innovative new offerings.
