We are currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for Vetreria Etrusca, they are a family-owned Italian company producing high quality sustainable glass bottles in unique colours. Their focus is on serving customers across the Wine, Spirits and Food sectors whilst maintaining a commitment to sustainability and excellence.
As a Sales Area Manager based in the UK, working remotely, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing activities across the UK, Ireland, and additional markets as required. Collaborating closely with customers and internal teams, your focus will be on growing sales, meeting targets, and strengthening relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
This role requires travelling minimum two weeks per month (depending on business needs) within the UK, Ireland, and internationally as necessary. Additionally, an initial training period in Italy will be required upon joining to familiarize you with their products, production processes, and company culture.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to customer needs and aligned with company policies.
* Achieve sales targets in terms of turnover and budget, regularly reviewing performance metrics and taking corrective actions as needed.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular visits, calls, and tailored solutions.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to ensure sustainable growth.
* Negotiate product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules to meet customer and business requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams including product development, quality, logistics, and customer care to deliver excellent service.
* Represent VE at trade exhibitions, networking events, and industry shows.
* Prepare detailed offers and proposals for customers based on market insights and customer feedback.
* Managing offers and orders or other requirements utilizing the company software (AS400)
