Vehicle Technician Required in Oswestry
1. Salary: Up to £35,000 basic (depending on experience)
2. Bonus: Excellent bonus structure – strong earners across the workshop
3. Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
4. Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A well-established main dealer in Oswestry is looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their busy and well-equipped workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician looking to increase earnings through a strong bonus scheme while working within a professional, supportive dealer environment.
You’ll be carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards, with access to ongoing training and clear progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards
6. Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
7. Complete job cards and workshop documentation correctly
8. Identify additional work and report findings to the Service Team
9. Ensure all work is completed with a strong focus on quality and safety
10. Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
Requirements:
11. Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
12. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent garage
13. Confident in diagnostics and fault-finding
14. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
15. Full UK Driving Licence
