Join a well-established engineering team in Sunbury as a Mechanical Assembler Systems, working on the build and assembly of complex, integrated mechanical systems. If you're hands-on, confident interpreting engineering drawings, and skilled in brazing, pipework, and TIG welding, this is a fantastic opportunity to apply your knowledge in a varied production environment.
As a Mechanical Assembler Systems, youll work closely with the engineering and production teams to assemble products to specification, contributing to both NPI and ongoing production work. Youll be instrumental in delivering high-precision equipment used in technically demanding sectors.
Your key responsibilities as a Mechanical Assembler Systems:
Assemble integrated systems using mechanical drawings and SOPs
Carry out brazing, pipe bending/forming, and TIG welding
Fit and assemble pipework, tanks, and frameworks to engineering specifications
Support the development of prototype assemblies and collaborate with engineers
Follow hot work procedures and apply safety standards at all times
Perform quality checks, document findings, and support continuous improvement
To be successful as a Mechanical Assembler Systems, youll need:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or prototype system builds
Proven experience in brazing, TIG welding, and pipe fitting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and SOPs
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team
Comfortable working with hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment
