🔍 Quality Inspector – Lower Dicker

We’re looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join the Inspection team in Lower Dicker.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Carry out first-off, batch, and incoming goods inspections to engineering drawings and specifications
* Work to inspection plans and support the creation of ISIRs and FAIRs
* Perform visual and dimensional inspections using metrology tools and CMM / Faro Arm equipment
* Check CNC components, welds, and sub-assemblies to ensure surface finish and dimensional accuracy
* Record and report non-conformances, raise concessions and reject notes where required
* Work to tight tolerances and interpret geometric tolerancing accurately
* Maintain data in the company’s ERP system and ensure use of current drawing revisions
* Support continuous improvement and uphold ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
What We’re Looking For
✅At least 3 years’ experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
âś… Strong understanding of Quality and Process Management tools (SPC, AQL, etc.)
âś… Proficient in CMM or Faro Arm and standard metrology equipment
âś… Able to read and interpret technical drawings
âś… Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Desirable
* Experience with welding and fabrication processes
* Background in the vacuum industry
* BTEC / HNC / HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
