We're looking for a Senior Road Safety Engineer to join our Kier Design team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our established Road Safety Team, delivering high quality technical outputs across a wide range of highways schemes. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Road Safety Engineer, the role sits within the Road Safety team, supporting the delivery of technical excellence across a wide range of road safety activities. Projects range from small scale improvement schemes through to major programmes of work. Your day to day will include: Undertaking Road Safety Audits (RSA), Walking, Cycling and Horse-Riding Assessments (WCHAR), and Equality Impact Assessments Preparing reports and documents in line with DMRB standards and client technical specifications Conducting site visits during daytime and nighttime, providing technical advice to design teams Mentoring junior staff and contributing towards technical excellence and innovation across the team Maintaining positive client relationships and attending meetings as required What are we looking for?
